This goal does not make sense, so I’m writing this to keep myself on track. In Spain, I dance without abandon like no one is watching. At home I wear this wonderful mask of a girl who is serious, studious, and intelligent. So it’s not so much that I just want to dance without abandon, I want to be more of the person that I am here.

How I did it: I get to see my boyfriend maybe twice a month, and he's always bringing me little gifts when he sees me, or sending me little cards and whatnot in the mail. I am not so sentimental, so I don't think of these things. But I did my research and found out that he loves caribou coffee, so I tracked one down nearby in chicago and bought a whole pound of coffee that I thought he might like. So I went with a bunch of friends to a local dive bar for Thursday night karaoke. We all chose songs for each other, and I got to sing Carole King's "I Feel The Earth Move", which is well within my range and something I feel very comfortable with. I went back to the bar… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Birthdays are good fun, don't you think? Having my best girlfriends around me didn't hurt either. Neither did having a couple of drinks. But it was pretty much the best time ever. Read how I did it…
