Hebrew Bible
Well, after the first year of seminary, I’ve pretty much read the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). I’m not gonna lie—I’ve skimmed a lot of the “begats” and the history in Chronicles. I should revisit that, and take another stab at Proverbs and the Psalms. Forget reading the prophets again, though. Blegh!
I hope to take a J-term class on Judges, and am scheduled to take Gospels this fall, so that’s a start on the New Testament. I’ve read Revelations as well, but not the Epistles, though I could take a class on them as well.

school garden

A few of us in my class have planted a small veggie garden this spring. I have visions of making sauce and maybe learning to can some tomatoes. We’ve planted the following: garlic, green onions, bell peppers and other random peppers, tomatoes (Early Girls and Romas), peas, radishes, and winter squash, along with cilantro, chives, and basil. Kind of an odd collection, but we’ll see how it goes.
This is supposed to be a collaborative effort, but so far it’s mostly been me and my friend Adam working on it. I hope someone’s watering things while I’m out of town!
