I think donating blood is such a worthy and good cause, I’ve just always been a scaredy cat. I’m a resident assistant at my university and I’m thinking of making the campus blood drive be an optional hall program for my residents (You know, at least if we are all scared, we can face our fear together) Let me know what you think.

How I did it: So I just came across this website, which I had forgotten I had signed up for a couple of years back. This is one of the few goals I have accomplished during that time period. I studied abroad in the spring of 2012 in Salzburg, Austria. It’s a beautiful city; you should go their if you get the chance. Actually, if you get the chance you should just study abroad in general. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My very first car I got when I was 17 was a 1998 Red Jeep Wrangler stick shift, but I didn’t know how to drive it. I didn’t receive much help in learning, I sort of had to figure it out for myself. It took a lot of getting use to and stalling in the middle of intersections lol. But, it is a great skill to learn because if you love to travel like I do, especially in Europe, almost all of the rental cars are stick shift. Read how I did it…
I have never been good at running, nor do I really have the body of a runner. At the beginning of the summer, I could barely run a 13 minute mile, and after running 5 times a week, I can now run a mile in under 10 minutes.
This September, I plan to run in my very first 5k race. I’m convinced I will be able to finish it, but my goal is to run it in under 35 minutes with ZERO walking. I haven’t tried the couch to 5k, maybe I could give it a shot, but I’m fairly optimistic at completing this goal without it. Wish me luck!
And we’ve been dating for 4 months. He is amazing, and everything you could ever want in a guy. He fits most of the characteristics I want in a boyfriend/potential husband. Did I mention he is also taller than me? Well, it’s a huge bonus because I’m 6 feet. I’m not sure I’m in love quite yet, but maybe I’m just in denial. We will have to wait and see.
