I have no idea when I will actually get to this goal as I have 2 children under the age of 2 and my husband is in Iraq, but I definitely want to read this eventually! I just bought the Pevear & Volokhonsky translation and I may attempt to read it a little at a time. Of course, it took me 6 weeks to read Fahrenheit 451 this summer, so it may be years before I get this one done!

So I didn’t get this done before hubby left for Iraq, but it is still on our to do list! I found some great ideas for what I want to do in there and I did get the room totally cleaned out so we made a little progress! I’m hoping hubby will help me get it painted when he gets home since he’ll have some time off before he goes back to work! Maybe by the end of 2009 I can get this off the list!
ugh! It is a hell of a lot better than it was, but it’s still the black hole for things I don’t know what else to do with. Plus it’s also become a guest room which has just made it even more of a nightmare for me!
So I have a new plan – I’m taking the guest bed out of there and just getting an aerobed for when people come to visit. Then I am getting rid of my husband’s desk, rearranging all of the bookshelves in there and throwing out/giving away/selling absolutely everything in there that we have not even looked at since we bought the house. I will get this done! (but probably not till the hubby comes home in Nov!)
