i’ve done this numerous times, but i want to do it more. the last time it happened, i sat on a porch as a party wound down and ended up talking all night to a wonderfully intelligent and beautiful woman. we had just met that night and stayed up talking about everything and anything that came to mind. when the sun came up, i didnt want to go to sleep. i wanted to keep sitting there and drinking in the knowledge and life that she had lived. but all good things come to an end… everyone needs more life affirming experiences like this

i want to get a dog, but what i REALLY want is a monkey. this monkey will ride on the dogs back in his specially made saddle. chaps and cowboy hat are optional. think about how nice it would be to have a dog AND a monkey that could walk it for you. oh, to dream

being sucessful is on my mind all the time. it affects what i read, what i talk about, who i talk to… it really takes over everything. i would like things to go back to they way they were when i was 6, when recess was the most important thing in the world. but things can never go back, and its better that they shouldnt. how do you balance this?
