I got them both done (OMG! the pain!) when I was on my honeymoon 4 years ago. No, I was not drunk or high, just thought it was sexy and would be fun. And it was! My husband really loved them. I’d still have them, but I had to take them out for my 1st mamogram last year, and it took over two hours to get them back in!!! I had rings, not barbells. Those might have been easier to get back in. By the time I did get them back in they were bleeding and so very sore! When I had to go have xrays a couple months later for a back injury and had to take them out again, I decided that between the yearly mamograms I would be having done and any other possible xrays I wasn’t going to put myself through that pain over & over again every year! Maybe not worth doing because of that!
I never had any problems with infections, and they healed and closed up nicely.
Oh well! Fun while they lasted!
...in the fall. I love the language, and really would like to be able to speak it better. Living in Houston, it’s really a good idea to be able to speak Spanish. Especially for a teacher, which I plan to be!
