Hey, I was only three when I did this but it was pretty awesome…does that count?

I went to Italy 2 years ago. Considering I’ve been wanting to go since I was in elementary school, it was nothing less than a dream come true. It was better than I expected. I first arrived in Rome, and rode a bus through Tuscany and visited Volterra (a very small, but beautiful village in the mountains) and Florence, and from there rode to Venice. Each place I visited in Italy really had an atmosphere and a unique feel to it that I just really loved. I don’t know how to explain…it was just amazing!! In this picture, I am standing with two “gladiators” in front of the Colosseum in Rome. They were quite silly.

I met the guy that plays Minime in Austin Powers (I think his name is Vern Troyer) at the World of Wheels car show in the Superdome in New Orleans. I was surprised at how short he was. He was sitting at a table to sign autographs and he had to sit on a bunch of cushions. He was SO cute!! And his voice was all high-pitched. He was very nice, and he shook my nephew’s hand and told him hello. My nephew was about 4 at the time and thought Minime was the coolest person ever : )

I’m engaged to the first guy I ever kissed and ever truly fell in love with…and I’ve never been happier in my life! The picture is us at Medieval Times in Orlando, where he proposed to me : )

I live in Louisiana, grits are quite common here! I like them with cheese. But I honestly prefer hashbrowns … with cheese … and ketchup!
