I’ve now totally changed my direction. Originally I was going to finish my Master’s in Education adn I have changed my career path to Interior Design. My classes start in one week!!

I have been wanting to learn to play for the past 16 years. When I was in high school I became obsessed with drummers: Dave Grohl (Nirvana), Larry Mullen Jr.(U2), Tommy Aldridge(Ozzy), Chad Smith (RHCP). Also the drummer from Def Leopard (can’t think of his name right now) after his accident blew my mind when I was a kid. Playing drums was the coolest thing ever. I begged and begged my mom for a kit. For Christmas that year she gets one of my sisters a bass, another sister an electric guitar (both got amps by the way) and I get a crappy practice pad and a set of drum sticks. What the hell!! She said drums were too noisy and my sisters could plug earphones into their amps. I then dated a guitar player for 5 years and do you think I was allowed to play then? NOOO, cause apparently drummers and lead guitar players butt heads a lot and playing drums would become a “problem” in our relationship cause who was going to teach me. (Okay done with bitch session) ANYWAYS I am now making it an official goal to learn to play before I want to say I turn 30 but maybe 31 or 32. It will be definitly be accomplished, maybe.
