So I forked out for a Britta water filter the other day after I lied to my therapist about having one and drinking more water. Terrible. BUT I do now have one; and I am trying to drink more water. It taste’s terrible but it’s good for me, so I persevere.
On a recent trip to Barcelona I forced myself to use the little Spanish I’ve retained.
It was hard. I was shy and my pronunciation is terrible. But by the 4th day or so I was a little less intimidated and could get my point across (and understand what was being said to me).
The question now is: will I keep it up now that I’m back in London? And how?
I struggled through Spanish 2.1.
The results came out at the beginning of March but I don’t know mine…yet.
I am now on Spanish 2.2 and signing up for a Spanish degree at University to start in October 2008.
