i live in quebec, been to ON, MB, SK, AB, BC, NB and PEI. i was hoping this summer to either go to YT and NWT or to NL and NS. we’ll see. we might go to costa rica instead and backpack the country, but i’d really like to take in all of canada soon. i’ve been lucky enough to visit 11 european countries as well as the US and we are planning some trips to other countries down south as well as asia maybe, but my thought is that we live in such a vast and beautiful country that it would be a shame to overlook it just to go visiting other places.
yay! i got contacts this week… i think i was in denial about my vision before. i had glasses that were -0.25 which i got 6 years ago and now my prescription is a -2.00. i can’t believe how well i can see and it’s especially better with contacts. i’ve only had them for 3 days so i’m still getting used to them. when i ride in a car i get motion sickness because of them and i find i have really dry eyes now. but other than that it’s going well and i can’t believe i waited this long to get them!! once i get used to them, which should only take a couple of weeks, i don’t think i’ll be wearing glasses as often!! definitely worth getting them… and if all goes well, in a few years i hope to get laser surgery!
