final paperwork went before the judge in the summer. he sent back a note about child support, responded & waiting it to pass before him again. Would be nice if it were done by the end of the year – a chapter of my life that so needs to be closed & left in the past!

The initial paperwork has been filed, waiting for the next lot from the ex, good chance this will be accomplished before my birthday, yay!
lost my job close to a year ago & after getting over the initial shock, anger & upset, it was great for quite a while. I enjoyed spending more time with my son, having time to myself, having time to think about what I wanted to do, time to re-work my resume, time to think about other aspects of my life.
Once severance ran out, things got very stressful until unemployment kicked in.
I had thought for sure I’d find something new before the severance ran out so even once the unemployment kicked in, stress had crept in.
It’s closing in on a year and unemployment is running out in a month and the stress & worry is very high now & being a single mother has made the whole situation sucky.
Quitting or losing a job is one thing when you have no one depending on you, but without something else to go to, is not worth it at the stage of life I’m at.
sigh
