learn to sing
Learning to sing (carry the lead vocal duties part of time in a perfroming band) this is what I did

1.) Find your range
Can you hit the notes? Does it hurt when you do?
If the notes are out of your ranges you don’t have them
Don’t show the rest of the world that you can’t sing those notes
Choose something you CAN sing (within your range)
If it hurts you are doing something wrong.
2.) Learn to breath properly
No air means no voice-learn to phrase so you can get the notes out.
Phrasing is a combination of how you deliver the note combined with your breathing pattern
3.) Sing from the diaphram
You can sing from your head/nose (falsetto) or throat as well as from the diaphram – the diaphram gives the most tone & power with the least effort and pain.
4.) Know the melody
If you do not know the notes how can you reproduce them?
5.) Know the lyrics
If you do know the words how can you sing them?
6.) Project
Singing quietly is very difficult so as a beginer don’t be afraid to
project so people can hear you
7.) Learn to work the microphone
Microphone technique has big impact on how the people in front of the P.A. system hear you. You can produce a lot of differnt vocal texturers by cottectly using the microphone.
8.) practise practise practise

Only one of the bass players showed up for the auditions but as luck would have it he was perfect and is now a memeber. The band has a name

OGR
