I did it! And it was NO BIG DEAL at all. I don’t need to go back for 5 years.
Nothing to be afraid of. Never knew a thing was happening.

I can still hear my mother waking me up in the morning. C’mon let’s get clicking and clacking, she’d say. She was always full of energy. I am too, just not at 7am.
If I could be downstairs on my treadmill at 7:30 each morning, I would be energized and ready to tackle the day head-on. On days like today when I get up at 9:30 and procrastinate away the time for the treadmill that nothing gets done and I am left feeling lethargic and useless.
All right then, I don’t want that feeling, so off I go to the treadmill even though it is now 2:30pm.
Daily exercise keeps falling off of my to do list and now I know why. It’s not that I don’t have enough time. I have the time to type this message. It’s just that when I have finished doing all of the things I want to do during the day it’s too late. It’s NOT an option. It must have an appointment slot in my schedule just like a work appointment or a lunch date. No one else suffers if my jeans don’t fit.
