make sure the body piercer is experienced and you can see photos of their work. you should also see that the instruments are new. take care of your piercing don’t swim, even in sea water (coral spores and other sediments will make it infected. The piercing will grow out to an extent, but it is nice to have.

I no longer wear mine, being 23 i am a bit too old for mid drifts these days, however i do think it is worth doing.

i think it can only be limiting, it is a bit elitist, i think i would take it too seriously if i don’t get in, or worse, get a number below what i expected.
