so unfortunate that I’ve been invited to the movies by someone I want to go out with. Is there anything to do in this metropolitan city besides the movies?...not really trying to spend money, just want to chill. a true hippie at heart. shed these western ways and take to roaming the countryside :) 5 days free and I’m finding I need a creative outlet. Guess creativity was cut off before. Listening more to music. Life is so beautiful when left to think your own thoughts. I bought the greatest hits of guns n roses today ‘87-’94. I took them forgranted in the 90’s. I just thought they were the best group of the time..they’re amazing still. So creative, so meaningful, so beautiful..not 1 mention of someone’s chain hanging low.

This is a goal I have been trying to achieve for years now. I recently got rid of my DVDs and DVD player. I haven’t watched a video online for four days now. I miss it. This is tough. It calms and relaxes me. On top of it I haven’t gone to the gym in four days. Why? Because their are tvs everywhere there and I’ve noticed I start staring at the screen when running on the treadmill. I catch myself and stop but I feel like that counts. TV’s everywhere. It’s in the dentist office waiting room. It’s even in front of the dentist chairs now. It’s at the doctor’s office. I can’t exercise without being surronded. Every where they can be they are. It’s in Wal-mart when I’m trying to shop. I go to a hair salon and boom tv. I go to get my nails done..tv. I read that when you watch tv your brain produces alpha waves and you go into a sort of comatose state equal to staring at a blank wall. You don’t retain most the images you see or remember what happened. Beta waves are logical thought and alpha’s are like day dreaming. You go from beta to alpha 30 seconds after sitting down to watch tv. I remember reading Fahrenheit 451 amused at how imaginative it was. Now I’m thinking ‘how insightful’. What is this world coming to where you can’t go anywhere indoors without tvs around to dull thoughts.
