So two, yes I said two, years ago Josh worked hard to put a fence up in the back yard so that we didn’t have to worry if we had to go inside for min. to answer the phone, cook, get something…whatever. The problem was we were never playing in the back yard there wasn’t much to do. Last year we started talking about building a play set for the kids and finally this summer we were able to do it! I am so excited. It took us pretty much one full day of sunshine and a storm to get it all together. Josh did do most of the work but I helped sort everything and figure a few things out, I even used a tool or two. Now we have played in the back yard every day! I am so glad that we invested our time in this project.

On my own I probably would have no interest in this sport except to watch it, but my husband loves to play and I suspect our kids will end up playing as well. That being the case I think it would be so fun to be able to say “let’s go play tennis” to my husband because I know that it would make him happy and that it would be fun if I could actually put up a little competition.
I have my gear, now I just need the time and diligence to learn.
These are three things that my family took the time to do with me and I have great memories of each one. There is nothing as amazing as seeing the ocean and realizing it is bigger than anything you could have imagined. Disney is just fun. And knowing that you can sleep outside, without the luxuries we are all so used too is a great thing. I cannot wait to experience all of these joys with my wonderful children and husband.
