When I originally added this goal, it was basically put on the back burner. I figured I’d get to it… eventually. I was more content in being lazy and indulging in plates full of pasta. So what’s the difference now? Nothing, really. I rarely depart from my comfy couch when I’m home, and still never pass up spaghetti. The only thing that has changed is I joined a gym (24hourfitness.com) with my boyfriend and two friends. I’ve found it helpful to have lots of extra motivation to get me to go. Once I’m there, I zone into some Jersey Shore on Thursdays, and any other night, I speed walk/run as hard as I can to Five Finger Death Punch. Within 2 weeks I’ve lost 12 pounds, then gained 2 back, but managed to lose those 2lbs. So 14lbs have been lost total, but to reach the original goal of “Lose 20 pounds” I have 8 more to go. I feel pretty optimistic about completing this goal! :D
