My sister, her boyfriend, and I went to the opening midnight showing at our local theater. It was a blast and I enjoyed the movie. You can read my review here if you like (no major spoilers).

I’ve been going to spinning (cycling) class 3 times a week for a few months now, plus weight training (usually) the other two weekdays. Now it’s snowboarding time so I’m doing that once a week, too.
I have really embraced the craftiness, actually. I now have a blog called Crafty Geek where I show off my projects and point to other good ones I find.
I think my first pattern design will be a hat, because I like them; they’re quick to knit, they make good gifts, and don’t take much yarn. I sincerely doubt that whatever I come up with will be truly original, since it will most likely just be a very simple stitch pattern applied to a hat shape, and I’ll probably model it after some hats I’ve seen in the local ski lodge. But it’s a good start.
Just a quick note to point out that Yahoo! Small Business is currently offering domains for $2.99/year (it looks like this will continue through January 25, 2006). I’m going to go pick up one I’ve had my eye on.
streetcards.com ? That’s where I got mine. The text is all mine, but it was nice to have the design set up (they’ve got bunches to choose from).
I did this and love WordPress so much that a major part of my business is now helping other people make the switch.
I’m actually going to be promoting the movie next week at Creation West, which is perfect because I’m so excited about it! December 9, you know where to find me.
...but I think everyone else liked it. I use L’Oreal Colour Rays for simplicity’s sake, because it’s a one step process even on dark hair. I’ve done fuschia and orange, and then just fuschia, and red, and who knows what will be next (my hair is “normal”, though not my natural hair color, right now).
I not only adore the library, I work there. Not for much longer, if all goes well (though I’ll miss it), but I’ll always be a diehard library user.
I was very excited to find 43 Things because I’ve just been reading Write It Down, Make It Happen . It seems sychronous.
I thought I wanted to just make a certain amount of money per month (ha, “just”!). Thinking about it today, though, I realized that what I really want is to make enough money through passive means (selling hosting, advertising, etc… basically recurring payments with little effort) that I can work on whatever odd project strikes my fancy at any moment. That would be a wonderful thing, and I’m going to make it happen.
I’m a two-time Nanonovelist [ http://www.nanowrimo.org ] and highly recommend the crazy novel writing method.
