although embarrasing, the fact that I’ve placed a label on the exact nature of the problem has helped me to realize that I’m unhappy. Being unhappy is something that most people don’t want to admit to. People spend years and tons of money trying to forget the fact that that is, indeed, what they are. You buy new shoes because you’re trying to make yourself feel better. Consumption is driven by people trying to buy things that advertising tells them will make them feel better about their teeth, their bad breath, their education level, their cooking skills. It’s much cheaper to post it on a blog that no one I know reads.

my biodiesel car
I’ve wanted to do this for years, but now that my current (non-diesel) car is on the the way out, it’s time to really look into this. I’ve had lots of friends who’ve done it, the conversion from diesel to biodiesel, or vegetable oil, is really minimal, and the result is that your car’s exhaust smells like french fries!
