I’ve been working out pretty steadly for about a year now. (Except for the couple of months I had to take off after my accident.)
The trick was finding something that made me sweat, but was still fun to do. For me, it was the eliptical. I love that thing. On days when I don’t exercise, I miss it. Not in the guilty “Oh, I’m a bad girl, I didn’t exercise today” but in the muscle-twitching, hungry for action, kind of way.
Totally worth doing.

When I wrote this goal, I wasn’t sure it was ever going to happen. But it did, and it’s totally worth it. “Falling in love” has its own feeling. NRE (New Relationship Energy) we call it. But being in love is just as wonderful as falling in love. I recommend them both, highly.

I’ve been pretty steady about working out three or four times a week, for the past five months. I find that what works best to keep my motivated is not a goal (like “lose X pounds”) but just enjoying the process. I love the elliptical machine. It’s fun!
