I used to do this ALL the time, at least once a day, often more. I do realize looking back through my journals that I am most prolific in my journalling when things are bad…Korenie said it already – and this is what I want – I want to capture some of the good times (which are NOW!) and not just the crappy times – I want to be able to look back on these times and remember how good they are – and know they can happen again if I’m in a rough patch.
I used to do what ravanne1 mentioned – things I’m grateful for and list things I like, etc. I spent a couple months starting each journal entry with a list of some sort – even outfits, or snack foods… usually this would prompt some sort of longer entry.
I miss it terribly, but I can’t really figure out why I’m not doing it so that I can fix it.
