camera savings account 2 months ago

i started a separate account to save up for a camera. I’m justifying this purchase to myself because if I really want to stop working for others and get my own business up and running in three years, I am going to need this camera to take the highest possible quality pictures of my products to sell on etsy.

Let’s see how fast I can save up while also contributing the normal amount to my other savings account.

Volunteer
horizons for homeless children 3 months ago

so i start training on monday.

I’ll be a “PAL” or a playspace activity leader for children in homeless shelters. I’ll be coordinating and leading homeless kids in art projects and other activities with other volunteers one night a week. awesomeeeeeeeeee!

it was great to finally find an organization i could actually volunteer for- most need 10-15 hours a week minimum and i unfortunately don’t have that much time (although i wish i did)

go to SXSW finally, after 4 years of waiting to go
ugh. 3 months ago

being a responsible adult really blows sometimes. i miss the care-free days of “i quit!” and reckless expenditures in the name of fun.
