So I’ve been in Redlands for about 5 weeks now. I’m taking Argentine tango and West Coast swing. Then, learning whatever else I can at the dance practice parties on Saturday nights. I cannot claim to be even good at any dance, but I’m learning. The session ends next week and I go home a week after that. It’s bittersweet. I love dancing and this place is unique (Kerry’s Coffee House/Shake It Up), but I’m ready to go home. There must be something in my area.
Anyway, I don’t think this learning how to dance will ever be done because I can’t know everything about every dance. Because I will never be done, I will never call this task done. Well, maybe when I can’t dance anymore. I can’t think of a reason to quit or be done with dancing. I’m hooked.

How I did it: I got my passport, booked a flight, got on a plane and just went. My grandparents went with me. I stayed with my great aunt and uncle who do mission work somewhere around Florencia, Costa Rica.I stayed there for 3 weeks. I wasn't very happy there and the university wasn't my type of place, but I'm glad I experienced Costa Rica. Read how I did it…
This summer I might be able to go to Redlands where my aunt’s best friend is offering me to stay, so I can take dance lessons at her daughter’s dance studio. Six weeks. No idea what dances I’ll learn, but I’ll take anything and everything available. :D
First semester is going well. I just don’t have a clue as to what I want to do. I love learning about so many things. My favorite class, astronomy, is nowhere near a career possibility. Apparently, neither is photography or anything else I really love. So, I’m considering fashion design and psychology because those are the only two majors my family things I can live on. Disadvantage of fashion design: I only learn about the history of fashion and techniques. No other classes. The disadvantage of psychology: I need to fix my own social skills. Psychology seems to be the winner, but I still really don’t know.
Once I pick a major, I’ll be fine. Darn you, indecisiveness!
