Whole Foods and Stirrings sell tonic water made with cane sugar, so now I can have my G&T again!

Avoiding HFCS turned out for me to be a catalyst for a much healthier and tastier diet. If a food or drink maker has gone out of their way to avoid HFCS, they’ve usually made an effort to ensure the rest of their ingredients are natural as well, so it ends up being a litmus test of healthfulness.

I also lost some weight after I decided to quit the junk, but in fairness, I also cleaned up my eating habits and quantities in general, so I’m not sure how much of a determining factor this was.

Move to San Francisco 3 years ago

Drove from Texas with my girlfriend, with no prearrangements for a a place to live and no job arranged for me. We crossed the Bay Bridge on a Friday night, had keys and a lease on Sunday afternoon, and I had a job two weeks later. Atypical but true!
