First and foremost, my handwriting is still illegible.
Anyway, I wanted to write in cursive for a few reasons…
- I’m reviving a dying art
- I’m sick of computers
- I like the way it looks
- It’s the first stop on my way to shorthand
It was worth it. It’s still slow, and unnatural feeling, but I just plain like it. You should write in cursive too!
You know.. I had high expectations going into this show. Unfortunately, I had some sort of strange anxiety attack after bumping into a coworker. It didn’t altogether ruin the show, but I had trouble enjoying myself.
The show itself, objectively, was fantastic. I mean, they played a lot of their new stuff, which is understandable, and they played it well. I was hoping to really hear some of their old stuff.. but everything sounded good, and there were lots of theatrics. It was about what you’d imagine a Flaming Lips show to be like..
