Get at least 2 acting gigs
All the world's a stage 2 years ago

In 2005, I got the lead in “Perfect Wedding” with the Dutch Country Players. That same year, I got a small gig to do the crime re-enactment scenes for an episode of FORENSIC FILES.

In 2006, I was cast as the lead for “Murder in Green Meadows” but had to back out after I broke my foot.

In 2007, I had three acting offers from two different community theaters. Unfortunately, I felt the need to decline them all. This is my first year as a paid member of the Montgomery Theater staff, and I did not want to jeopardize that time commitment.

Exercise at least 3 times a week
Work It! 2 years ago

After an emergency appendectomy (Dec 2005) and a broken foot (May 2006), I finally got the green light to get back to the gym.

And yet I waited a little longer.

Finally, in July, I started hitting the gym at my office first thing in the morning. I get at least 20min of cardio about five days a week. And I lift two or three days a week. It’s a great start to the morning, and it really helped during a series of stressful projects.

have a paid theater gig
Untitled 2 years ago

I have been helping out at the Montgomery Theater for a few years now, usually doing technical gigs like Lights and Sounds and a few other projects here and there. I told the director a year or so ago that my goal was to become a member of the paid staff. Well, the 2007 season marks my first year working in that capacity. My title: Project Supervisor. I maintain the lighting and sound equipment; hang and strike lighting instruments; work with the production’s lighting designer; work with the artistic director to fulfill the music and sound FX requirements; and coordinate the acquisition of props.
