How I did it: At my annual in Nov. 2009, I asked my primary care Dr. to look at a mole on my shoulder which had started to feel 'ragged' to me and which was hurting a bit if anything pressed on it. It's kinda near my bra strap area, so that would happen from time to time. The mole had also been remarked on a time or two at the Chiropractor's office this past summer. So I figured I should ask my regular doc abo… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I sent his ex housemate email. No response. I sent his ex housemate messages in Facebook. We went back and forth and picked a date, which fell through, then we picked a second date, which worked out fine. I am not sure how much good this actually did. They tried to hard-sell us on additional cleaning and whatnot. Mildew, ohnoes. bla bla. (google searching reveals that ‘finding’ mildew & offering to clean it for an extra charge is an often-tried scam with these duct-cleaner folks) The duct work goes so far back through the house I don’t think anything anyone does will be 100% effective.
I am thinking perhaps I’ll install small filters on each vent grille in each room and just clean those every now and then rather than get a duct cleaning service again.
Some neighborhood ruffians tore up my orange tree and the ripening fruit and the tree never did recover. I dont’ think it’s alive anymore. I planted a fig in the back yard where it’s less accessible to passing hoodlums, and put the mulchy thing and watering ring around it. I hope it lives.
