Training for a 5k can be fun, but it’s also work. My reccomendation: If you’re a social person, run with friends. If you like music, listen to music while you run. It can help more than you’d expect, when the going gets tough. Most likely this race is run on your own choosing, so have fun. And before the race, stretch. 30 seconds per stretch position should be a good ammount. I can’t really describe any stretches, but follow the lead of the other runners.
