Didn’t sleep enough last night, though I tried. I should be getting to bed before midnight every night of the week, to adjust my mind/body clock. I should also avoid exercising and eating large meals before bedtime, as well as make sure to have gotten enough exercise early in the day so I’m not antsy at bedtime.

I realize that while TV keeps me occupied &satisfied, other facets of my life have been declining. TV shows make stories so nicely wrapped up; I don’t know how to problem solve in my own life so much anymore. Movies are better because you don’t have to watch something like 80 hours to stay on the story, and they tend to have more meaning. I’m in the beginning of my 20’s and don’t want to think back and wish I didn’t let television devour my youth. I want to seize life’s opportunities; live it; not watch it happen.
Things are only as hard as we choose to make them. Picking my lips in public is not elegant, and the red bloody scabs aren’t pretty either. Starting tomorrow, I will stop myself from this little sin.
