47 years and close to a ton of VW Bug finally and, yes a bit sadly off my hands. Fun to drive. Bitch to repair all the time.
I’d rather walk everywhere I go anyway, so… like an alchemist I turned said ‘61 Bug into an open-back 5-string banjo.
Much more fun to drive (it drives me) and easier to fix.

This is absolutely horrifying. I’m sure I wasn’t hallucinating Ron Paul’s presence at the Republican debate last night. Yet ABC news isn’t even acknowledging his presence! What’s going on here? How are we as citizens supposed to make informed decisions when the media deliberately skew reality for us in an effort to keep us stupid?
This tells me that the media at large are afraid of what Ron Paul has to say. All the more reason to vote for this remarkable man.
I have written a letter to ABC regarding this matter. Here it is:
In looking at your online survey today regarding the performance of the candidates at the Republican debate last night, I can’t help but notice that Ron Paul is not present in the list. The only conclusion I can logically draw from this omission (coupled with the fact that ABC has given Ron Paul next to NO coverage) is that your “news” organization is afraid of Paul and what he has to say. Afraid to the point of attempting to hide his very existence from the public.
Please do not insult your readers’ intelligence and try to spoon-feed us your version of reality. Last time I checked it is up to the voting public to determine who shall become president, not the news media. I am a free-thinking adult human being. Please don’t presume to do my thinking for me. Shame on you.
I will be sending copies of this comment to everybody I know, and asking that they do the same.
