How I did it: Most of the work was in transforming the whole-site-in-one file format I was using for WebMake to the one-file-per-page format for Webgen. I definitely like the accompanying designs, and the tags are easy to work with. I *know* I'll be fiddling with it more, and I may even migrate away from Webgen later. Read how I did it…

I’m doing it right now, as a matter of fact.
Webgen is one of many static site generation tools. It’s written in Ruby, and looks like it’s going to work just fine for my site. At least as well as WebMake, which is what I’ve been using up to now.
It’s after midnight, but I’m having so much fun kicking back and reading up on some Perl stuff. Sure, I’ll go to bed now because that is the best thing to do for my health. It is nice to occasionally push just a little bit past the safety line for the sake of personal indulgence, though.
