It took awhile to get into the habit of doing this every day but eventually I did. I found a nice, lightweight spf 30 lotion for my whole face and a sheer spf 85 for my eye area which I am particularly worried about. Haven’t noticed any sort of change in my skin quality or anything.. but hopefully its helping!

How I did it: It was an epic inner battle just to put a sentence down for awhile there... then I think the combatants got tired and I started reasoning it out. I still like having adderall to calm down the inner critic, pessimist, and perfectionist. In the end my teacher emailed me to congratulate me on my command of the subject and referred me to a research lab doing work in retinal development and said he'd give me a recommendation. Seriously overach… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Just grew up and decided not to do it any more. When you're ready to quit you're ready, and I just inwardly admonished myself every time my fingers went absently to my mouth. Eventually I just stopped. They still aren't gorgeous nails, and they break a lot when I'm stressed, but certainly no more ripping them down to the skin anymore. Hurrah! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Looked it up online when I was bored/procrastinating. Picked it up in about 5 minutes. At least I can feel accomplished about SOMEthing if not the paper I should be working on! Read how I did it…

Scale is reading 145 now. Right on schedule! Five pounds down, ten to go! I just got done with finals and now its spring break, I’m headed to Sin City, Nevada for a few days and then Disneyland with my best friend, we’ll see if I can resist the caloric cocktails of vegas clubs and delicious overpriced treats of disneyland. I’m proud of myself so far!
You know… it might just happen for me after all. I’m probably going to get a FLYING colors A in sensory biology, and conditioning & learning if I can get all the reading done.. I’ll probably earn an A in french too, if I can pull a 5 page paper out of the air and impress him with my philosophy and grasp of the language… The ONLY thing in my way is development & plasticity – got a C on the midterm after an ill-advised overnight cram sesh that was not nearly adequate..
I’m going to start on that class tonight. The final is wednesday. Paper and other final tuesday. cmooooon time management skills! work for me here. <3
