So I didn’t go OVERBOARD but I did put a little effort into it. What qualifies as gourmet anyway?
Today I made a Ham (due to the holiday) with a Sherry Apricot Glaze, it was mighty delicious. I also made Spinach, Strawberry, Hearts of Palm Salad with Cider dressing, Asparagus with Lemon Butter, New Potato, Chive and Basil Mash and Hot Cross Buns. I am especially proud of my meal because I made everything from scratch. Even the Salad dressing and rolls! For dessert I made the staple Carrot Cake (also from scratch). I think I impressed my boyfriend even though that was not nessecarily the goal. If anyone wants the recipes let me know.
