I’m taking Spanish I at school and at the end of the year, we will go to a Hispanic market. It is a requirement to talk in Spanish. I can’t roll my ‘rr’s, but having all of the verbs in the right places would be a start.

It’s a shame that I am a native and it’s my first language, and I still can’t fluently talk to a Japanese person (other than my mom) without thinking that I’m saying something incorrectly.

Before, I was one of the very few Asians in my community. Now that I have moved, I see them everywhere, especially Koreans. I hear people speak Korean in and outside of school. I’d like to learn how to speak it too.
