It feels like we’ve lived apart as much as we’ve lived together. I don’t know how he feels, but for me it gets easier every time, while at the same time getting harder. Every time there’s something new: another pregnancy, another baby, another pet, another extended family member in need of a change…they just keep stacking up! At least he is in the same country right now!

I had to do this randomly or I never would have finally gotten the guts. I expected to look very goth because I am naturally very pale (I had white blonde hair growing up, now it’s medium blonde), but it actually gave my face some color. I went a warmish brown black, the darkest before black. A lot of people thought it was natural. Definitely be ready to either shell out cash for dye removal (even if at home, definitely get 2 boxes, you do NOT want to be spotty!!) or wait a looong time for the dye to wash/fade out.
