I always think I am going to get to things early, but then I just put it off and put it off until it is the last minute. I think I do work better that way. I do not enjoy the stess of doing it last minute though. I envy those who get things done ahead of time. They always seem so relaxed!

How I did it: I made sure I made running a priority, even if it meant that I had to get up at 5:00 in the morning to do it! I never enjoyed getting up super early, but really after I got out and started running, I was happy that I had made myself get out there to do it. I also enjoyed going to work knowing that I had already put in my daily run. Not only that, I gave me more energy. I have been back into my running route for qui… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I have wanted to do this for years now. It had been 8 years since my first marathon. I finally decided this was the year to do it, so I signed up for the marathon about 6 months before hand. This gave me the drive and motivation to makes sure I kept up with the training. How I did it: I have tired hula hooping so many times, but once I set it as my goal everything changed. First off I had realized that the only time I actually tried to hula hoop was like in the store or other places where othere were nearby. This time I decided to go out and buy my very own hula hoop, so that I could practice without other watching me. The next thing that I did was looked up how to hula hoop on the internet. I did a great job running all summer. Then once I started coaching in the fall my running began to become less and less frequent. Well since November I havent done much running at all. I feel horrible and need to get running again!
I eat way too much candy. I need to limit my candy intake. I am thinking that to start I should try to only have 200-300 calories worth of candy each day. That probably still sounds like a lot to most people, but at least it is a step in the right direction for me.
