Well if I spoke Cantonese… There wouldn’t be this mega language barrier between my Grandma and me.
Also, it’d be great for my third language on my resume… Flighties need their languages etc. etc.

Well, she’s here now.. and uhm… YEAH. FOR A MONTH. FROM HONG KONG. SHE SPEAKS NO ENGLISH. what am I gonna do? there is a huge language barrier here.. But you know, I can’t ‘ignore her’ as i suposedly did last time…

It seems all I do is deal with other people’s shit. I mean, not that I’m complaining. I feel honoured that they trust me, and want my advice in such a way, but honestly… And now that I’m losing sleep over it, worrying about how their problems will work out, and making sure their lives stay on track.. It’s becoming an issue.
