Okay, here goes for preparing to buy a house… so far, I need to put aside some money for closing costs and a downpayment.
I need to start getting some real information about what it will take to make it happen like possibly talk to a person who could pre -approve me or let me know what I will need to have in place.
afraid to find out i have no chance. I ahve checked my credit report, however, and my score is excellent – would be higher if I pay off the small balances on the other two credit cards.
Since I want to buy a house soon, i want to get rid of the debt on one of my cards that built up when i was out of work for a while.
Two things I am doing is constantly calling the cc companies to continue to lower the interest rate and paying an extra few hundred dollars a month to pay it off faster.
Hopefully, by this time in a year or so I will be all clear…
wish me luck
