How I did it: Only way I could do it was to start getting up earlier and earlier. 3 AM, 4 AM. Thank god there's nothing to do in Clarksburg. I basically had to redo everything from the first act onward. I tried to keep everything that kept me from the first idea. I also, and I'm embarrassed to say I didn't quite do this the first time, really try to make everyone, at least from their own perspective, be "good" people. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Extra freelance work, cutting out "going out" money, and the plain old fear of getting laid off. We also lost a lot of money when we had put a deposit down on new house and then the housing market tanked before we were slated to sell our old place. How I did it: Snuck in time when the baby was napping or everyone was out running errands or at the airport. Took long walks. Avoided reading. Listened when things were going wrong. My pops, the master mind, came down and we plowed through the studio getting it done late last night. It’s so amazing to be able to have a sound proof room, that’s great sounding too! I’m totally excited to get back to recording music!
