How I did it: I didn't start out the year 2008 thinking, "I'd like to have six different jobs this year." I doubt anyone did. But now that '08 is over, I'd say it was actually worth it. I learned a lot about myself over the past year, including the fact that I can find a job when it's necessary, even in the middle of a recession. Proud
How I did it: I started on this blanket for my mom a couple of weeks before Mother's Day, then decided it was going to be her birthday present in July... and finally finished in August! I used a shell stitch pattern, changing colors each new row. It was a very basic stitch and got a little boring after a while, but at least it worked up quicker than using single crochet!
