hooray! my digital camera arrived, i opened up a flickr account, and i have both a Holga and a Brownie Hawkeye Flash winging their way to me in the post. i think its ok to say that i’m doing pretty well with this one!

today i put down my crappy happy snap and ordered a Canon Digital IXUS 900Ti. its still just a point and shoot, but its miles in front of the one i was using (which was about £120 cheaper and a measly 4.0 megapixels).
i’ll be registering a new web domain soon and i have an idea for some photo groups that i want to tie in with it; heres hoping when the Canon arrives it can stand up to what i’m planning!

how stupid is it that i have this amazing city on my doorstep, a city thats admired the whole world over, and the only time i go visit it is for music gigs?
i dont know if this goal is going to manifest itself as monthly visits, weekends away, work placements or actually living there for a while, but i cant seriously contemplate moving away to San francisco without first appreciating what my own country has to offer.
