Well things have changed since the last entry almost two years ago. I actually took undergrad classes and found that it was silly to get a second bachelor’s. Long story short, I started grad school and I’m working toward an MBA with a concentration in finance. The first sememster is completed and I ended with a 3.65 gpa. That’s pretty good for me. This degree will cost a considerable amount and take about two years but I’m up for the challenge.

Still working on becoming debt free. It is a difficult and slow process. I have recently started grad school and therefore most of my budget goes toward tuition. Anything left in budget usually gets allocated to my travel fund. Hopefully Uncle Sam will return all of my federal tax so I can go on vacation. Really I think it will be used to pay citibank. That’s the boring responsible chioce, but is the path I have chosen. At least for the period leading up to my financial freedom.
So it’s taken me quite some time to determine the language I wanted to learn most. I have made a decision and I believe it’s a good one. I’m going to learn Mandarin. I know it will be very difficult to learn but I want to and therefore I will. I’m a firm believer that the best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself in the culture. Right now that is not possible for me so I will go with option B and buy the Rosetta Stone software. Has anyone used this before? Does it work?
