Everydayfiction.com is publishing my first piece of flash fiction on July 11!
This is the first thing I have ever submitted for any kind of publishing.
Please feel free to visit the site and read my story (it’s less than 500 words) and rate it or even leave comments.
The piece is titled “Rain”, by B. Teuscher

Just discovered this site after meeting one of the popular authors at the Burbank Library. (Gay Degani)
This may help me with my other goals.

It was a long time ago, but what fun.

This is a life-long annual goal. In 13 marathons, I have run qualifing times twice, and I’ve run the Boston Marathon afterward each time.
My qualifying times have both been within a 2 minute margin for error, so I can never take it for granted that I will be able to run that fast in the future.
I have made the lottery for the St George Marathon in Utah in October. That will be my best shot at qualifying for Boston 2009.

this has been so difficult for me. I’m considering downgrading my goal to a paragraph (or more) a day. :(

I use Pro Tools every day professionally. Like any other complex application, you can achieve a ‘comfortable’ level of competence, and then stop progressing skill-wise. I want to RULE this beeatch!

walk to work

I’m the only person I know who walks to work. It’s an extremely rare thing in Burbank/L.A. It’s worth it just knowing al the time I don’t waste commuting/ sitting in traffic.

Accomplished!

Ran 112th Boston. It hurt bad. Note: not wise to spend a week walking around as a tourist right before running a marathon. Live and learn the hard way.
Anyway, I’m going to leave this on my list. I need to see if qualifying the first 2 times was just luck.

Netflix it.
I devoured and savored every episode through season 4.
What can I say about this?
The Wire must be the greatest accomplishment in the history of television series.
It has raised the bar for television fiction to the level of literary art.
The show illustrates the idea that sometimes Truth is best served through fiction.
