...I am grateful: 1) for 865 days of sobriety, 2)that I am employed again in a job where I feel like I am making a difference, 3) that I have people in my life that I truly love and that love me, 4) that I have the opportunity to clear away some of the wreckage of my past, 5) that I am developing a relationship with a higher power who has made these and many other things possible in my life.
...and noticed that, while they were positive and admirable, most of them had to do with living a lifestyle and will never be complete, per se. So I decided that I needed to start adding some goals to my list of measurable things that I can do to practice the sort of life that I want to live.
