I’m at that stage now where I realize I have a massive wishlist, but limited money, so my goal is to see (mainly by listening to samples at iTunes) what CDs are really worth going after, and which ones I’d be better off buying the MP3s from instead.

I’m about halfway through my wishlist now.

Chiaki Ishikawa is the singer in a J-pop (Japanese pop) duo called See-Saw, who makes very good music (the other member, Yuki Kajiura, is a very good composer and has a large body of work, also well worth checking out). They’ve done songs for Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Noir, and .hack. She also has two ablums out, Magnolia and Inner Garden, and several singles besides.

Her voice is golden and can go from very high and young to very deep, and in one song, Edge, very severe.

I bought a pack of two filet mignon (for about $12) at a grocery store, and my stepdad, who is a mean griller, cooked them for me. It was very tender and flavorful, and just my size. Now I see what the big deal is. I would but it in the grocery store rather than in a restaurant; it’s about 1/4 as expensive.

Btw, I froze the other steak to eat later.
