At the original Lollapalooza in Orlando, FL in the 90’s, along w/ (a terrible-sounding) Jane’s Addiction, Butt-hole Surfers, Ice T, Henry Rollins (Ha! Hockey Coach-Freak in “Jack Frost”), etc….TR smashed his stuff on stage, needless dramatics and oh-so-wasteful but I suppose he accomplished his goal of “shock & awe”.....here I am talking about it maybe a decade later. Go figure.

Saw them in Orlando in the 90’s at the Rennaissance club in downtown O-town. Awesome show! “Only Happy When it Rains”
Rarely a day goes by when this exciting play project doesn’t cross my mind. And last night it was crossing my mind in a BIG way on the BIG screen at the dollar theater (it was 50 cent night, woohoo!!!) We went to again catch “Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit”. Phenomenal! “Beware….the MOOoooonnnnnn….....” STILL catches me off guard! And so many other delicious imbedded puns better appreciated 2nd time around.
So, if stop-motion is something you feel driven to do, remember, watching counts toward your goal! I love the fact that often times the fingerprints remain visible on some of the characters (most noticably Gromit), reminding us surreally that they are just plasticine.
