Bump that, it’s much sweeter when someone else is the boss & you (I) get the chance to do what I love.
That’s the situation I find myself in right now, and I can’t help but love it (to death).
Note: that doesn’t mean I’m not my own boss. It just means I’ve found a boss that’s also fine with me being my own boss.

2009 is the first year (in over a decade) that I set a New Year’s resolution for myself:
Read more books.
Halfway through the year I’ve realized what bullshit that is.
I read somewhere that the average 21st century American (during the course of their lives) read more in one week than someone in the 18th century did in one year.
Consider that the 18th century was part of the Industrial Revolution.
Clearly reading more books is not going to give me a heads up.
So I’ve changed my resolution:
Read more efficiently
What am I reading and why? Does it fall into a larger reading picture/schema or not?
