Another two days down, and I’m doing pretty well with this. I feel a little more energetic already. I also like that there are exercises to help me calm my mind and visualize how I want my life to be right now. It gives me a good sense of hope.
I don’t have a scale, so there’s not really any way I can quantify “weight loss”, but since I’m more just trying to get rid of the lovehandles and a bit of my gut than anything else, I don’t think I really need one.
The best part about the whole thing is that is actually pretty damned enjoyable. Who knew exercise could be fun?

Okay, I did my yoga regimen for the second straight day, and I must say it is a lot more intense than I had anticipated. It is a lot “safer” than traditional exercise because it’s all about taking it only as far as your body can go, and it’s very low/no impact. That said, it’s still an intense workout. It doesn’t just work a part of the body quickly, it works the whole body slowly, and it’s surprisingly tough. I do like it though. I feel somehow “fresh” when I finish. I’m looking forward to tomorrow…

I went to my favorite bookstore (Barnes & Noble) with my sister today, and picked up one of those bargain books they have called “Yoga Burns Fat”. Yeah, the title is not only self-explanatory, but also irritatingly cheesy. Fortunately, it seems like a pretty good way to get into fat-burning Yoga excercise, and outlines 7 different week-long routines that take about 30 minutes a day. I started on one of them, but only got about a quarter way through today because I needed to get ready to do some pre-production on my band’s album. Tomorrow morning I am going to go through the entire routine.
Hey, it’s a start…
