This is by far my favourite “thing”. It’s introduced me to such good artists. I had Jason Mraz’s album almost half a year before I heard anyone talking about him or any of his songs. It’s a good philosophy if you want to get into something new or expand your knowledge of bands in your favourite genre.

How I did it: I played Roll On by Josh Ritter. I had a recording program on my laptop and I connected up some mics on myself and the guitar and just belted one out. As you can tell it was vey high tech... I recorded it in my sitting room on a very uncomfortable chair. Read how I did it…

This summer I already have 3 gigs booked in. I wonder what else I could go to but it’s good to see that I’m still trying to go to more gigs even after failing in the goal last summer.
