At least American Studies is the best major ever and allows me to choose a fun topic.

I’ve realized that while I’m very in tune with my emotions, I am really out of touch with my anger. That seems to be the one that I deny. I usually feel sadness instead but I’m sick of feeling sad and defeated all the time. Anger can be so empowering, if channeled the right way. I’m not really sure how to access my anger without just feeling sad but this is the start.
can’t get no worse!
For me it’s been getting much better. I am by no means done with this little task but I am surprised at how ready I am to let go. I’m still very, very angry at him and I usually say “I don’t get angry” but I think that’s because I’ve been burying it and masking it. I really want to go there, to access my anger, because I enjoy it so much more than converting it into sadness. It can be really empowering! So I’ve just discovered a new goal. Excuse me while I add one to the ol’ list…
